We remind you of the elementary rules of using an elevator!
This week in the second porch of our house there was almost a disaster – a baby carriage was clamped on the elevator doors. Fortunately, no one was hurt!
In the incident, you can blame the technical condition of the elevator equipment, someone from the officials would diagnose the elevator – "tired", and this diagnosis also has the right to exist, because elevator equipment has not been repaired since its installation.
But, the annoying case did not happen, if adults remembered and applied the elementary rules of using the elevator, namely:
You can not put in front of an empty elevator car in front of you/put in/carry/bring in light things, let small children or pets enter the cabin.
Also, it is impossible to leave the first adult from the elevator car. Adults should release earlier children, pets, light things and the last car should leave the adult.
Why is that?
Because the automation of any elevator "understands" that people entered the elevator car in the presence of a certain weight, for example, over 10 kg. At the same time, the doors themselves are not closed, but remain open until all persons are landed and are closed only by command - by pressing the button of the required floor.
In the case when small children, pets enter the empty cabin first, the elevator "thinks" that no one has entered the cab and waits for 5-7 seconds to automatically close the doors and expect a new challenge. The same thing happens with the stroller, when it is brought into the empty cabin first or taken out of the cockpit of the latter.
We call all the residents of our house, give advice to yourself and those who, because of time-saving considerations, neglect safety rules, sometimes it costs health and even life!
