The Executive Director and the Board of AJOAH ensured the implementation of the Kyiv city energy saving program 70/30 for us!
We congratulate all the co-owners and residents of our house on the completion of the warming of our house under the 70/30 program. Due to the city of Kyiv, under the AJOAH assistance program, energy-efficient metal-plastic double-glazed doors on each floor of our house were purchased and installed. How it happened and how to use it:
In 2018, the main task of the AJOAH board was to ensure the repair and modernization of our individual heat point (ITP) for trouble-free hot, cold water supply and heating. In addition, the corresponding automation was installed and put into operation. To participate in the 70/30 energy saving program of the city’s board, the necessary documents according to which the city commission agreed with the targeted use of AJOAH funds for engineering and engineering, which allowed them to carry 30 percent of our part for installing energy-efficient metal-plastic double-chamber doors on each floor of our house. Thus, we have received insulation "door" from Kyiv is completely free. The total cost of attracted funds of the city is 232 000 UAH. We emphasize that these tools (doors and installation work) were presented to us in the city!
Really great? Thus, the 70/30 program works!
Under the same program of the board, the AJOAH had a desire to warm our house from the outside with borrowed funds without pledging our property with you, this would be beneficial for the community – each of us. It would be 2-3 degrees higher in the apartments of the house than now. But the destructive informing of the co-owners by "Ediks" did not allow to gain the necessary votes for the implementation of a more significant and profitable event. Maybe in the future such programs will still be initiated by the city and maybe we are more lucky. On our own, with 100 percent payment from the community, we will not pull such a project.
How to use the door?
Someone will say, I myself have been able to close and open doors since childhood. But there are several nuances that we wanted to pay attention to – the doors have two closing modes.
1. Summer mode.
Everyone is familiar with this mode of closing and opening. In this mode, the door is not pressed very tightly against the frame; there is a certain clearance for air ventilation.
2. Winter mode.
This mode is recommended for use in winter – the doors are tightly attracted to the frame, there are no gaps, the air does not ventilate and the heat does not erode.
2.1. How to close the door in winter mode? We look at the photo:
First, close the door, as usual. Please note that the door handle is horizontally aligned at the time of closing!
After closing the door, the handle must be returned up (1), as shown in the photo. At the same time, the crossbars in the door pull it more tightly to the frame.
Put the door handle in its original state.
2.2. How to open the door in winter mode? We look at the photo:
First, open the door, as usual, pull the handle down.
Then slightly continue the movement of the handle down-right (1) and after opening the crossbars (the doors begin to open), pull the handle towards you (2). The doors are open.
Do not close/open doors with force. If something does not work properly, notify the executive director or chairman of the AJOAH!
Be careful about acquisitions of AJOAH, do not break or let others do it. Help elderly people to master the features of using the winter mode of closing doors, we will save the warmth and money of each of us!
